Luna Jovanović (1990) earned her master's degree from the Department of Photography at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad (2022), as well as from the interdisciplinary studies program at the University of Arts in Belgrade (2015), specializing in Art and Media Theory. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in the field of visual arts at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia. Her artistic practice explores concepts of cultural landscape and memory, using photography, found materials, collage and drawing. She has showcased her work in ten solo exhibitions including The Wind Rose in Gallery F64 in Podgorica, Montenegro, (2025), You Never Look At Me From the Place From Which I See You in Goethe Institute in Belgrade, Serbia (2023), Meshes of the Afternoon in Gallery Mali likovni salon, Sombor, Serbia (2018), The Thing in Štab Gallery, Belgrade, Serbia (2016), Selfportraits in Gallery Lautliev in Plovdiv, Bulgaria (2015). She has participated as a lecturer and workshop mentor at local festivals in Novi Sad and has published her written and visual work in a number of culture and art magazines in Serbia. She is a 2025 VID Grant winner for her project Map of Disappearance. Luna has also participated in various group exhibitions and festivals held in Photon gallery in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2025), Regional Photo Awards for Young Talents in Gallery Cetinje - C2, Cetinje, Montenegro (2025), World Valid Hall in Barcelona, Spain (2025), Gallery PH21 in Budapest, Hungry (2023), Regional Photo wards for Young Talents held in Museum of Contemporary Art in Novi Sad, Serbia (2024), in Cultural Centre of Niš, Srbija (2022), International festival of photography in Aleppo, Syria (2013) and many othes. Luna was a finalist in the Different Worlds 2025 international competition for photographers, a second-place winner at the Fotofutura festival for student photography, and a two-time recipient of the Dositeja Fund for Young Talents of Serbia scholarship.
She is a founder of photography studio INTUIT (since 2020), situated in Novi Sad.
